Sunshine, El Kanemi chase Salisu Yusuf

05 November 2013, 17:28

Lagos - Enyimba coach Salisu Yusuf seems to be the most sought after coach in the Nigerian Premier League, as El Kanemi, Sunshine Stars and Taraba FC are all in the chase for his signature.

Yusuf led Enyimba to lift the 2013 Federation Cup trophy after beating Warri Wolves in the final played at the Teslim Balogun Stadium in Lagos, and a second place finish in the league.

El Kanemi want the technical skill of Yusuf who has played for the Maiduguri club, while he has since been a target of Sunshine Stars, according to report on MTNFootball.com.

Newly promoted Taraba FC are seeking to maintain their place in the top flight and have expressed their interest in bringing Yusuf back to the club he managed two seasons ago.

But it is unclear if Enyimba will allow Yusuf leave as they now look forward to campaign in the CAF Champions League next season.
