Ondo - The Chairman, Ondo State Football Agency (ODSFA), Segun Adagunodo, says the Sunshine Stars FC of Akure are in high spirit to win their match against Aso Chlef of Algeria on Friday.
Adagunodo told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Akure that the players had been motivated by the State Government and that they knew the importance of getting a good result from Algeria.
``The players are in high spirit to win the match, they know the importance of the match for them and for the nation being the only representatives in the Confederation of African Football (CAF) Champions League from Nigeria,” he said.
The team's goalkeeper, Moses Ocheje, said that Sunshine would strive to outshine Aso Chlef in the return leg of group A in the competition.

``Our target is to win the match in their backyard, though if we earn a draw, we will be satisfied as this is the game of football and surprises should be expected.
``The players are in high spirit to win the match because they know its importance which is to qualify for the semi-finals of the tournament,” he said.
Ocheje thanked the Super Eagles coach, Stephen Keshi, for understanding the importance of the match by releasing him, the skipper, Godfrey Oboabona and Izu Azuka, for the match.
