Super Eagles Defender dismisses TS Podbeskidzie Bielsko-Bia

27 June 2015, 14:45Soccer Laduma

Lagos - Reports linking one - cap Nigeria international Kingsley Madu with a switch to Polish club TS Podbeskidzie Bielsko-Bia, in the summer transfer market are wide of the mark.

It had been claimed that the AS Trencin fullback was in action on Wednesday in a test game against LZS Piotrowka, but a source close to Madu was quick to point out that the defender has resumed training with the Slovakia champions.

Indeed, the 19 - year - old lasted the entire distance in AS Trencin's 3 - 0 thrashing of Bohemians 1905 Praha on Thursday, and this has shot down rumours that he suited up for TS Podbeskidzie Bielsko-Bia, the previous day.

The former Flying Eagles star was subbed out after 65 minutes in the 2- 0 loss to Mladá Boleslav in another friendly game played by Trencin on Monday.

''Kingsley Madu is not in Poland, it is false information that he's training with TS Podbeskidzie Bielsko-Bia, the impeccable source told news24.com.

''He returned straight to Slovakia from Nigeria. He's with Trencin now.''

Kingsley Madu's intermediaries have offered him to Dutch clubs PSV Eindhoven and Ajax Amsterdam, and are waiting for developments before deciding his future.
