Uyo - The Super Eagles of Nigeria’s team for Friday’s
inauguration game of the ultra-modern Akwa Ibom Stadium, began training in Uyo
on Tuesday morning.

The team made up of entirely stars from the Nigerian league
trained at the Uyo Township stadium under the watchful eyes of Assistant Coach,
Daniel Amokachi who was assisted by Valere Hyandonou and Ike Shorunmu.
The team was scheduled to have a feel of the much talked
about Uyo Stadium later on Tuesday evening.
Head Coach Stephen Keshi was still away in Abuja on some
personal issues and he’s scheduled to join the team on an undisclosed date.
The training proper, which featured all 24 players lasted
for over two hours with some of the players having a first feel of the rigorous
training in the Super Eagles camp.
