Lagos - Super Eagles have slipped four places in the latest world FIFA ranking released on Thursday.
Nigeria dropped from 33rd spot in August to 37th in the world in September ranking.
The drop also affected the Super Eagles position in Africa, as they now occupy the 6th spot from 3rd position placed in August.

They were overtaken by Tunisia, Ghana and Senegal who are sitting in the 3rd, 4th and 5th spots. Algeria and Ivory Coast remained the top two teams in Africa.
Germany, and Argentina held on to the top two spots in the world. While Colombia, Netherlands, Belgium, Brazil, Uruguay, Spain France and Switzerland completed the top ten in the world.
