19 October 2015, 13:21

Brussels - Belgian Jupiler League club, KAA Gent have listed their Nigerian import, Moses Simon as they prepare to face Spanish club, Valencia in the UEFA Champions League (UCL) on Tuesday night.

The Nigeria international, Moses Simon missed Gent's Belgian Pro League match at Mouscron-Peruwelz on Friday due to flu but the fast winger whose dashing run from the wings can cause any back line headache has recovered and has been include in the squad that will travel to Spain to face Valencia.

The former GBS Academy player along with his Gent teammates will hope to complement their recent win on the road in the domestic scene on the continent. Simon's Nigerian fans will keep a close tab on him as they watch out for the performances of Nigerians playing in the UCL.

Both teams lost their opening Champions League match; De Buffalo's lost 2-1 to Russian club, Zenit St.Petersburg while their host on Tuesday night, Valencia lost by a lone goal to French club, Lyon.

Moses Simon is expected to be part of the Super Eagles squad barring any form of injury when Nigeria face Swaziland who defeated Djibouti 8-1 over two legs in a 2018 World Cup qualifiers in November
