Abuja - Victorious Super Falcons will be officially decamped on Thursday after winning the African Women Championship (AWC) in Namibia for the 7th time.

Team Administrator Ruth Davids disclosed that they are expected to return next week for a presidential reception at Aso Rock Villa.

President Goodluck Jonathan, who on Wednesday received the AWC trophy at the Villa from team captain Evelyn Nwabuoku in company of NFF president Amaju Pinnick and Coach Edwin Okon, promised to formally host the team on November 5.

"I want to welcome you girls from Namibia for doing us proud and winning the trophy for a record 7 times.

"You have done well and I promise that as a nation we will always celebrate you.

"I am only receiving this trophy from you today but I will host you girls on November 5," Mr President stated.

Meanwhile, the players and team officials have been paid all their entitlements accrued from their participation at the AWC.
