What a night the Rivers Angels defender had. Her quick movements from the left flank gave the Super Falcons options. The versatile woman showed enough quality and strong performance especially from set pieces.
Onome Ebi 6.5/10
Courageously gallant in defence. She blocked several goal-bound efforts. The Minsk star was solid enough at the back.
Josephine Chukwunonye 7/10
The Rivers Angels woman had it right. Timely and apt with her tackles. Read the Swedish attack very well.

Tried her best in the middle and fared well against the more experienced opposition which shows that she is ready for the big stage.

News24 player of the match. Menacing on the flank. Provided two sweet passes to Asisat Oshoala and Francisca Ordega. The Delta Queens playmaker called Hedvig Lindahl to duty and also scored a very decisive goal for Nigeria. Exciting night. Cut the Swedes open with glee.
Desire Oparanozie 7/10
Refused to be distracted by the own goal. The Guingamp predator imposed herself into the game with a sumptuous assist and was involved in the attacking flair of the seven-time African Champions.
Asisat Oshoala 8.5/10
The Liverpool Ladies forward was inspirational and skillful. Scored Nigeria’s second goal with a fine finish which beat Lindahl. Her brilliant trickery on the Europeans wowed the entire the entire Stadium.
Francisca Ordega 8.5/10
The link up with the other attackers worked effectively with Ordega proving to be the player for the big stage. She was full of running and was ready to take risks. The Washington Spirit star warmed her way into the game and scored the late equaliser with a goal poacher's finish.
