Abuja - The final of the 2012 Women Super Six will be a battle of Southern teams as Rivers Angels of Port Harcourt and Delta Queens of Asaba booked a place.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the championship, which kicked off on November 24 saw both teams winning their opening games.
After the group matches on Monday, both teams topped their groups with six points each.
The Delta Queens were drawn in Group A with Kogi Confluence Queens and Bayelsa Queens, while Rivers Angels were drawn in Group B with Nassarawa Amazons and Sunshine Queen.
Delta Queens defeated Bayelsa Queens 2-1 and Kogi Confluence Queens 2-0, while Rivers Angels pipped their opponents, Sunshine Queens and Nassarawa Amazons with a lone goal margin.
The final match on Tuesday will be preceded by the third place match between Kogi Confluence Queens and Sunshine Queens of Akure.
Both matches will be played at the Old Parade Ground, Abuja, to be graced by dignitaries, including Mrs Oyedinma Dilichukwu, the Chairperson of the Nigerian Women League Board.
