Odion Ighalo scores 20th league goal

16 April 2015, 12:11

London - The impressive season of Nigeria international striker, Odion Ighalo is showing little signs of turning dour as he scored yet another goal to power Watford to victory on Wednesday.

He scored in the sixth minute of Watford’s 3-1 victory over Nottingham Forest as the Hornets intensified their push for an automatic promotion ticket at the end of the season.

The forward rose highest to plant home an emphatic header after a flick on from an Almen Abdi corner.

He almost completed his brace to make it 2-0 in the 23rd minute but chose to pass to Abdi rather than go for goal himself.

It turned out to be the wrong option as his teammate toed wide.

The 25-year-old was outstanding late in the game but missed two glorious chances in the 82nd and 84th minutes to double his money.
