Uche Ikpeazu delighted to score against Doncaster Rovers

23 August 2015, 18:21

Abuja - Uche Ikpeazu capped off a fine performance after scoring his second goal of the season and Port Vale's second in their emphatic 3 - 0 victory over Doncaster Rovers on Saturday evening.

After netting in the 46th minute, the Anglo - Nigerian has broken a personal record, having scored for the second game in a row for the first time in his professional career.

Uche Ikpeazu was pleased with the way things had panned out at Vale Park and has targeted another victory on Tuesday in the League Cup tie against Brown Ideye's West Brom.

''Great win lads, it was also great to score as well. Now looking forward to the next game against West Brom away,'' Uche Ikpeazu said on Twitter.

'' I vow to return all the glory to God, it must surely end in praise.''

Port Vale have kept three clean sheets in their last four League One games but only occupy the 11th position in the standings after drawing three matches and winning once.
