Udoh delighted with brace

09 October 2014, 15:13

Lagos - Mfon Udoh has spoken of his delight after bagging a brace in Enyimba's comeback victory over Sharks FC in Wednesday's Glo Nigerian Premier League clash.

Sharks looked in control as they quickly forged a two-goal lead in the opening 13 minutes of the match, but the People's Elephant fought back to win 5-2, with Udoh coming off the bench to net a double.

The Enyimba marksman admitted the Blue Angels troubled them, but was thrilled Enyimba registered the win that helped them go up to third place in the table.

"I am very happy because the game was complicated until Nzube Anaezemba pulled one back for us, which were very important," the striker told SL10.

"It was a very difficult game. We have seen that the Sharks team wanted to hamper our title dreams but now we must think of our upcoming match against Gombe United," he added.
