Katsina - Captain of Enyimba Chinedu Udoji has insisted that the Match day 30 defeat at El Kanemi will not affect his side when they host Wikki Tourists on Sunday.
After only 4 defeats in 29 games, Enyimba succumbed to their fifth loss of the campaign but remained firmly at the top of the table and four points ahead of second placed Warri Wolves.
"The defeat in Katsina will not affect us at all," Udoji told EnyimbaFC.net. "We did not start well and missed some of our players due to injuries. But in Aba, we will start strong and play well. I believe we will carry the day, by God's grace."
"In football, no two games are the same. The challenges vary from game to game, so that El Kanemi Warriors game is gone and we are ready for a new challenge.
"Come Sunday, I believe we will get the three points. We are not thinking about any previous game. We are just focused on this one," he said.
