Victor Moses targets win against former club Crystal Palace

15 October 2015, 21:41

London - Nigeria international Victor Moses is relishing the prospect of facing his former club, Crystal Palace, in the Premier League on Saturday.

The winger cut his footballing teeth with the Eagles, spending nine years with the Selhurst Park outfit before transferring to Wigan Athletic in January 2010 after scoring 11 league goals for the Londoners.

But Moses has insisted that he will put aside his relationship with Crystal Palace, adding that he is keen on helping The Hammers maintain their unbeaten run in the Premier League.

''I remember playing at Palace for Liverpool and the fans gave me a great reception,'' Moses told West Ham's official website.

''I grew up there and spent most of my years at Palace. I really enjoyed my time there and it is good to see them in the Premier League.

''They have done really well this season and they will be a hard team to beat away from home. I am a West Ham player now and I just want to enjoy my football and help us get the three points.''

The last time Moses went to Selhurst Park, Liverpool threw away a three - goal lead to draw with Crystal Palace.
