Lagos - Stationery Stores coach, Taiwo Enegwea says the 2-0
victory over old rival, Shooting Stars FC in Nigeria National League (NNL)
means so much to his team.
Goals from Onwrebe Raphael and Ajah Festus on Thursday
ensured the Lagos club book their first victory of the season with five points
from three games.
“Winning against a big side like 3SC means a lot as it will
boost the morale of the team. They are a good side, they showed maturity, they
gave their best but it was not good enough”, Enegwea told News24 Nigeria.
He added that self-confidence and team spirit motivated the
Flaming Flamingoes to their first victory of the season.
“It was the confidence and belief that they can do it”.
Stationery Stores will be hosted by another Lagos based
team, MFM FC in their next game on Saturday.
