Edinburgh - Ghana international Mubarak Wakaso is set to
join Nigeria’s Efe Ambrose at Celtic from Rubin Kazan on a one year loan deal,
Wakasa featured for Ghana at the 2014 FIFA World Cup where
they crash out in the group stage. Ambrose played all four games for Nigeria,
as their campaign ended in the Round of 16 following a 2-0 loss to France.
Wakasa, 24, is set to have a medical in Moscow as the
Scottish champions aim to register him before tonight's 23:00 BST Champions
League play-off deadline.

Wakaso started his football career with local club Ashanti
Gold in his homeland before moving to Spain where he first played with Elche,
then Villarreal before switching to Espanyol in 2012.
