Abuja - Coach Ahmed Abdul-Pele of the Wikki Tourists FC of Bauchi attributed his team’s 0-2 loss to Enyimba FC of Aba in the Globacom League week 32 encounter to biased officiating.
He said that his team played better than the hosts in the encounter last Wednesday, but was robbed of victory by the referee.
"When you see the game, you will see that we played better. However, I still congratulated Enyimba for winning the match.
"The two teams played well but the referee was biased. He did not know what he was doing.
"The referee always blew against our team, when he ought to treat us equally,” Abdul-Pele noted.
The Wikki Tourists coach, however, said he was confident that his team would overcome the loss by winning its next league match.
Josiah Maduabuchi opened scoring for Enyimba barely in the second minute of the match, while Ifeanyi Ede completed the routing in the 32nd minute.
