Cape Town - Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is lining up a move for the young Everton right-back John Stones, suggest reports.
Wenger joins the likes of Tottenham and Chelsea who are also interested in signing the young 20-year-old Toffee defender.
With Bacary Sagna already on his way to Manchester City and Thomas Vermaelen and Carl Jenkinson continuing to be linked with other clubs, the Gunners will be looking to strengthen their defensive options.
Stones impressed for Everton last season and was selected for England's initial World Cup squad, earning his first cap for his country in an international friendly against Peru.
He is contracted to the blue half of Merseyside until the end of the 2017/18 Premier League season and Everton boss Roberto Martinez will hope he can hold onto the promising English youngster.
