London - English Premier League club, West Ham United has
handed a new 18-month contract to striker, Carlton Cole, Sky Sports report.
Cole was let go after his contract expired last summer, but
could not secure another club to continue his playing career.
But following the long term injury of Andy Carroll, the
Hammers handed a three month deal to Cole in October 2013.
The club are now keen on keeping the 30 year old after
scoring four goals in 12 appearances.
