Cape Town - Germany World Cup winner Lukas Podolski has admitted he is
unhappy at Arsenal and will look to leave the Emirates come the January
Podolski is yet to start for the Gunners in the Premier
League this season and has only made three appearances as a substitute.
According to the Daily Star, the 29-year-old was expected to
leave the London outfit during the summer, but injury to Olivier Giroud forced
Arsenal into reassessing their transfer activity.
Podolski, who made the move to England from FC Köln in 2012, has made 74
appearances for the club scoring 28 times, but insists he is unhappy with his
current situation and will look to change clubs if nothing improves.
"I have assessed my position in the team, and it has to change
now," he said.
“The fact is that I'm not happy with it, that's clear."
