London - Sammy Ameobi whose contract at Newcastle United is
set to be renewed is reportedly close to joining Championship side
Wolverhampton Wanderers on loan.
He is expected to be loaned out by Newcastle United when he

The 22 year old was made available on loan by Newcastle
United, but despite reported interest from Premiership teams it's the
Championship duo of Cardiff City and Wolverhampton Wanderers that have firmed
up their interest in him.

Manager of Wolves Kenny Jacket is keen on the services of
the Nigerian to fill the left sided void created by the departure of Bakary
Sakho, who opted against renewing his expired contract with the Molineux side.
If Jacket succeeds in signing Ameobi, he will join fellow
Nigerian England’s youth international
Dominic Iorfa, at the club who once had former Super Eagles defender Isaac
Okoronkwo on their books.
