Abuja - As Nigeria's Super Eagles begin a demanding schedule of summer fixtures with Friday's friendly against Mexico, captain Joseph Yobo has told the players to prioritize 2014 World Cup qualification.
Yobo, who won the Turkish Cup with Fenerbahce last week, however says he will be rooting for the team at next month's Fifa Confederations Cup.
Two games against Kenya and Namibia in the space of 7 days stand in Nigeria's way to the final round of World Cup qualifying, and Yobo says the team must prioritize those games.
"Qualifying for the World Cup is the most important thing," Yobo told KickOffNigeria.com.
