London - African Footballer of the Year Yaya Toure believes
Manchester City have one of the brightest future stars in their ranks in
midfielder Kelechi Iheanacho.
The Nigerian has earned plenty of plaudits during the
Citizens' current pre-season tour of the United States, where he scored his
debut goal against Kansas City on July 23.
City boss Manuel Pellegrini even went as far as to declare
the playmaker the "future" of the club, and Ivory Coast international
Toure has since added his praise for the 17-year-old, and has tipped him for
big things in the English Premier League.
"Kelechi is an exciting player. I love the
way he plays and I feel that he will have a good career at the club and go on
to become one of the players of the future," Toure told City's official
