Amodu hails beach soccer growth in Nigeria

Lagos - The Technical Director of the Nigeria Football Federation Shuaibu Amodu is satisfied with the growth of beach soccer in Nigeria.

Amodu, a former Super Eagles Coach, also doffed his hat for the breath taking initiatives of Kinetic Sports for raising the stakes in the development of beach soccer game in Nigeria.

The Coach, who was the key note speaker at the breakfast launch recently, spoke to the media on his joy for such landmark achievement in the annals of sports development in the country.

"First and foremost I feel honoured to be called upon to give the Key note address at the breakfast launch of Copa Lagos 2015 edition, I can’t believe my impact as the first coach of the National beach soccer team 'Super Sand Eagles' about 10 years ago is still being remembered and counted upon. I feel honoured for the recognition given me to give the key note address and also salute the visionary courage and assiduousness of Kinetic Sports Management on the development of the brand to a landmark achievement for five years," Amodu, who was saddled with the responsibility for drawing the technical layout for Nigerian Football said.

Amodu also poured encomiums on sponsors for their financial and material supports of the brand COPA LAGOS for a stretch of five years, saying they are worthy of emulations as sports brands,

"COPA LAGOS will surely provide them with the right platform to reach out not just to their Customers but to Nigerians across all segment of the economy.
