London — Chelsea captain John Terry will stay at the club
for another season.
The 35-year-old defender was out of contract and said in
January he would not be extending his stay. But ahead of Sunday's final match
of the season against Leicester, Chelsea said it would give Terry a deal for
Terry says "everyone knows I'm Chelsea through and through."

The former England captain adds that he's "looking
forward to next season under the new manager (Antonio Conte) and hopefully we
can make it a successful one."
Terry has spent his entire career at Chelsea.
