The Nigerien contingent landed at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja on Wednesday night, and trained on Thursday evening.

Reigning world champions Nigeria have won the FIFA U17 World Cup on five occasions.

Next year’s African finals will hold in Madagascar with the World Cup to be staged in India.

News24 reported that Golden Eaglets coach Manu Garba is under pressure to find new players that will be fit for the CAF U17 qualifier against Niger at the weekend after his starting 11 reportedly failed MRI scan.
