Akwa went into the encounter played inside the 13, 500 capacity Stade Municipal de Pointe Noire with the aim of making a big impact at the continental level having proved book makers wrong to clinch the country’s Federation Cup for the first time in its 20 year history, that aim was achieved with the 1-0 victory.
