Dream Team confident they will beat Algeria

Abuja - Dream Team VI captain Okey Azubuike is confident they will beat Algeria in their final group game of the ongoing CAF U23 Africa Cup of Nations.

The Nigerian U23's have had a far from impressive start to the competition, beating Mali 3-2 in the first game, but almost losing a three-goal lead having led 3-0 at halftime.

"I'm sure we will beat Algeria," he said. "It hasn't been the best start from us but we just have to keep playing our game.

"We have to play a normal game and forget the mistakes we made in the first two games. I believe we can beat Algeria if we do," he said.

The draw notwithstanding, places Nigeria in second place, with a chance to progress to the semi-finals, but they must beat Algeria in the final group game, or hope Mali beats Egypt if they get any other result.
