Dakar - Nigeria U23 striker Oghenekaro Etebo says they are
not scared of facing hosts Senegal when both countries meet on Wednesday in a 2015
CAF U23 Africa Cup of Nations semi-final game.
The Dream Team VI, as the Nigerian U23’s are called,
finished second in group B, with four points behind Algeria and faces the hosts
at the Dakar National Stadium in Dakar.
Speaking ahead of the clash against the Young Tarenga Lions,
Etebo admits it will be tough playing the host country, but maintains that they
will see to it that they get the ticket to Rio 2016.

“They are the host team and they will be tough but that
doesn’t mean we cannot win,” said Etebor.
“We want to win the game so we can qualify for the Olympic
Games and we know it will be a good game but they also know Nigeria will be
tough for them,” he added.
A win for Nigeria over their Senegalese counterparts will
see them book their place at next year’s Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, while
a loss means they must win the third place match to be sure of a place at the
