Lagos - Nigeria Premier League club FC Ifeanyi Ubah are currently searching for an interpreter for their Brazilian imports, News24 can report.

FC Ifeanyi Ubah imported six Brazilians who arrived at the Murtala Mohammed airport on Tuesday, January 20, to sign for the club ahead of the new league season.

To avoid language barriers and ensure a smooth communication among the players and coaching crew, the club have now began a search for a Portuguese interpreter.

“We need an interpreter who will pass message across the four players and two technical crew, so that we can have a smooth campaign and understanding in camp,” a club official, who do not want his name on print, told News24.

Meanwhile, Team co-ordinator Ese Okafor said the Brazilians are expected to make a big impact in FC Ifeanyi Ubah.

“This guys who came here are very serious people, they are not here to joke. They knew where Ifeanyi Ubah ended last year and they said they will make a very big impact and to carry the league as well.

“Not only in the Nigerian league but they want to go continental as well.”
