FC IfeanyiUbah force Sunshine Stars draw

07 March 2016, 10:04

Akure - Sunshine Stars defender Kunle Odunlami on Sunday in Akure rescued a point for his team in the dying minutes of their 2015-2016 Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) week five fixture in a 1-1 draw with visitors FC IfeanyiUbah.

The match played at the Ondo State Sports Complex saw FC IfeanyiUbah's Suleiman Muhammed scoring in the 86th minute, before Odunlami equalised in the 88th minute.

FC IfeanyiUbah’s chairman, Ifeanyi Ubah, later told newsmen after the match that he was furious with the game’s officiating.

Ubah said his team could have won the match if not for bad officiating.

“We now want to win all our upcoming matches, both home and away,’’ he said.
