Flamingos to play Brazil, England in FIFA U17 Women’s W/Cup group stage

Lagos - The Flamingos will play against South American side Brazil and England in the group stage of the FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup to be hosted by Jordan.

The Nigerian side are placed in Group C that also has Korea DPR.

A Sportdaylive report says the draw took place at the Al-Hussein Cultural Centre in downtown Amman, overseen by His Highness Prince Ali bin Hussein, the President of the Jordanian Football Association.

The tournament holds between September 30 and October 21.

Flamingos Coach Bala Nikyu and team administrator Mary Oboduku were in Jordan for the draw, according to News24.

GROUP A: Jordan, Spain, Mexico, New Zealand

GROUP B: Venezuela, Germany, Cameroon, Canada

Group C: Nigeria, Brazil, Korea DPR, England
