Lagos - Super Eagles forward Gbolahan Salami has joined
Finnish Premier League club Kuopio Palloseura (KuPS) on a one year contract
from Warri Wolves.
The contract that runs till December 2016, gives the club
the option of extending the deal for another year.
The 24-year-old, who emerged top scorer in the Nigerian
Premier League in 2015, is expected to arrive in Kuopio in the coming days,
subject to being granted a visa by the Finnish authorities.

In January, he opted out of the Nigeria squad to the African
Nations Championship, where the Super Eagles crashed out in the group stage.
Salami will be joining compatriot and Warri Wolves teammate Azubuike
Egwuekwe at the Finnish club.For
