Lagos - Nigeria Premier League club Giwa FC have lost its goalkeeper Timothy Chichi Okere after a two-year battle with spinal cord injury, Pulse report.
The goalkeeper died on Wednesday.
According to report, he sustained a back injury in training two years ago and was hospitalized at Bima hospital in Jos, was later discharged but readmitted following a relapse.
