Abuja - Giwa FC have been reinstated into the Nigeria Professional Football League after being banned for failing to honour three league games.
News24 reported that In May, Giwa FC were banished from the Nigeria Premier League for the 2015/16 football season after failing to honour ties against Wikki Tourists, Akwa United and Enyimba.
In some tweets in Wednesday, the LMC says the Jos club is making a return in respect to a Plateau State High Court ruling.
“Breaking...Giwa FC returns to the NPFL; courtesy Plateau State High Court interim order.
“Registration of players on the basis of Giwa FC expulsion from the NPFL withdrawn. Clubs warned not to feature them; beginning immediately.
“#GiwafcCourtorder: Processes to reschedule matches concerning Jos side now being activated as directed by Plateau State Court.”
