Lagos - Golden Eaglets striker Victor Osimhen has sealed a move to English Premiership club Tottenham, according to report in London.

Osimhen emerged record scorer after hitting the back of the net 10 times at the 2015 FIFA U17 World Cup concluded in Chile last weekend.

Following the feat that also saw the forward win the tournament’s top scorer award, Tottenham have now completed the signing of the Nigerian youngster, according to Metro.

Tottenham were reported to have opened talks with the player’s representatives during the competition, and he will now join Mauricio Pochettino’s side.

Osimhen, 16, was the star of Nigeria’s recent Under-17 World Cup triumph, with the forward scoring in every game of the tournament, including one in the final against Mali.

There are reports that compatriot Kelechi Nwakali is on his way to Manchester City.
