Owerri - Heartland have expressed discomfort over what they
term ‘tight fixture’, SuperSport reports.
According to theeagleonline, the Oweri side held Kano
Pillars to a goalless draw on Sunday in a week 16 game of the Nigeria Premier
League played in Kano. They host Plateau United FC on Wednesday and are
scheduled to travel to play Enugu Rangers two days later in a Friday Night
“Management and players have said outright no to the demand
by LMC for the side to head to Enugu for the Friday’s Night Football at Enugu
Rangers on Friday,” an official of the club, Solomon Onuh said.

“We truly liked the innovations but not at the detriment of
human life which the order seems to overlook.
“We cannot finish the midweek matchday 18 clash against
Plateau United then travel to Enugu on Thursday to engage Enugu Rangers on Friday,
that will be too demanding and tedious on the part of the entire team.”
