Abuja - Home based Super Eagles midfielder Paul Onobi has
been talking tough ahead of the CHAN 2016 tournament in Rwanda.
The Sunshine Stars’ midfielder is one of the players
jostling for a place at the tournament which begins on January 16, and he says
he and his teammates are ready for any challenge, giving their level of
preparations so far.

“It has been a good time here and we still expect more
(training) from the coaches because we are ready to go all the way,” he said.
“We are preparing very hard for the task ahead and we know
what we can do if we face any team at the moment and even if you bring AC Milan
now, I am sure we can withstand them,” he added.
The team will travel to Pretoria, South Africa on January 2,
where they will camp and play two friendly matches against Angola and Cote
d’Ivoire, before leaving for Rwanda.
They are placed in group C, with Tunisia, Niger and Guinea.
Their first game is on January 18 against Niger, at the
Stade Regional Nyamirambo in Kigali.For
