25 December 2015, 12:42

Abuja - Odion Ighalo has described the outgoing year as a good one for him, following his impressive performances for Watford.

The 26-year old has scored 28 goals in this calendar year, making him the highest goal scorer in the whole of England for 2015, and he says it has been a fruitful year for him as he continues to live his dream.

“It has been a good year for me as I have been living my dream,” he said.

“I scored 20 goals last season and now I have scored 12 and by the grace of God I will surpass my record of last season because it has been a fruitful year for me and I thank God for his grace in my life.”
The Nigeria international took his season tally to 12, following his brace against Liverpool last weekend.

They visit Stamford Bridge on Boxing Day, where they take on struggling champions, Chelsea.
