London - Watford striker Odion Ighalo says their target
remains to avoid relegation, despite being just one point off the top four.
The 26-year old scored his 12th goal of the season with a
brace in the 3-0 win over Liverpool on Sunday and are presently seventh on the
table, but speaking after the game, Ighalo described the Premier League as
‘difficult’, and so their aim will remain to avoid the drop at the end of the

“The Premier League is not easy, it is difficult and we still
have a long way to go,” said Ighalo. “We just need to keep getting the points
we can get now and see how far we can go.
“It is going to be a difficult season and we know we will
lose some games but we still have to stick together and work as a team and our
aim is to remain in the Premier League,” he stated.
The Nigeria international has now scored 12 of Watford’s 21
Premier League goals this season, and is the highest goal scorer in the whole
of England for the calendar year with 28 strikes.For
