Lagos - Former Super Eagles goalkeeper Ike Shorunmu has been
appointed as trainer by struggling Nigeria Professional Football League club
Ikorodu United, Sportdaylive reports.
“The management of Ikorodu United is glad to announce the
addition of new assistant coach and goal keeper trainee, Shakiru Giwa and Ike
Shorunmu,” the club announced on Wednesday.

Last week, Ikorodu United appointed their third coach in
three month, and have now announced an assistant and a goalkeeper trainer.
Soccernet report that Ikorodu United named Dutch man Theo De
Jong as replacement for Sam Okpodu.
Shorunmu has had stints with Enyimba and Heartland, and has
also been the goalkeeper trainer of the Super Eagles.
