I’m under pressure, admits MFM coach

08 March 2016, 09:48Israel Ojoko

Lagos - Coach of MFM FC Fidelis Ilechukwu says he is under pressure due to a shaky defensive line.

The side managed to hold host Ikorodu United to a goalless draw in a Lagos derby of the Nigeria Premier League on Sunday, despite being one man down in the first half.

MFM were the better team and should gone ahead on many occasions, but for the well-organised defense of Ikorodu United, who also came close to scoring.

Ilechucku is not bothered about the red card, but got some worries concerning his defense line.

“Red card is part of the game, I don’t believe it was an error.

“We had a game strategy but when we conceded a red card, we had to change the game plan.

“I’m under pressure because we have a lot of challenges on the defense line, we are trying to improve because in the last three games we do concede goal.”

MFM will welcome El Kanemi at the Agege stadium in their next game.
