Paris - Here are 12 things that you did not know about the 2016 Euros final explained in numbers.

1 - After 35 games at the European Championships, Portugal have finally won their first EUROs.

2 - Both of Portugal’s  goals in extra time at EURO2016 have been scored by substitutes.

3 -  Portugal become the first team in European Championship history to go to extra time three times in the same tournament.
5 – Antoine Griezmann of France is the all-time top goalscorer in the knockout stages of the Euros (5 goals).

6 - Eder of Portugal is the sixth substitute to score in a European Championship final, along with Oliver Bierhoff, Sylvain Wiltord, David Trezeguet, Juan Mata and Fernando Torres.
7 - Since 1980, no goalkeeper has made more saves in a EURO final than Portugal’s goalkeeper, Rui Patricio

8 - Cristiano Ronaldo made just eight touches in the #EURO2016 final before being substituted due to a knee injury.

10 – Portugal have become the 10th different nation to win the European Championships.

18 - Renato Sanches of Portugal is the youngest player to feature in a EURO final (18 years and 326 days).

35- Portugal have won their first European Championship after 35 games at the tournament.

59 - This is the first Euro finals without a goal in the first 59 minutes.
80-They took until the 80th minute to register a shot on target, the longest wait for a team in a European Championship final.
