Junior Ajayi scores again for Sfaxien

31 December 2015, 16:28

Abuja - Nigeria Under-23 striker Junior Ajayi was back amongst the goals for CS Sfaxien as he scored one in their 3-1 win over Club Africain in the Tunisian Ligue 1.

The former Shooting Stars striker was on hand to score in the 82nd minute to give his club a 2-0 lead, in a game that also featured another Nigerian, Kingsley Sokari.

Ajayi’s goal in the win made it his fifth in seven matches for CS Sfxien in the Ligue 1, despite missing some part of the season when he represented Nigeria at the Africa Under-23 Cup of Nations in Senegal, which they won.

Meanwhile, Sokari, who only recently joined the club from Nigerian champions Enyimba, was in Sfaxien’s starting line-up and put up an impressive performance in the win.

The win now means Sfaxien are second on the table of 13 games. They have 31 points, three shy of leaders, Etoile du Sahel.
