Kano Pillars, Rangers clash in season opener

Lagos - Kano Pillars will host Enugu Rangers in one of the opening fixtures of the Nigeria Professional Football League 2016 season.

A clash between both sides is always a game to watch following the football rivalry between them, and the Sani Abacha stadium is set for a duel.

In other fixtures, Lagos will again come alive with live premier league action after a long while, as Ikorodu United play host to Abia Warriors.

In the ancient city of Ibadan, Shooting Stars will welcome their visitors - Lobi Stars from Makurdi, while Heartland will renew rivalry against Warri Wolves.
