Lagos - Super Eagles midfielder Fegor Ogude can now heave a
sigh of relief as his wife Memunat has been released by her abductors.

She was whisked away in her car around 8pm on Monday when
she went out with her kids. The children however, were not taken along with
Dream Team media officer, Timi Ebikagboro, who is also based
in Delta State where the incident happened, confirmed the release of the wife
of the Amkar Perm of Russia player.
“To God be the glory, the wife of SE player Fegor Ogude,
Memunat has been released, she was released minutes ago, and is now with her
family,” he wrote on twitter on Sunday night.

There were no details if a ransom was paid, but it is the
tradition of kidnappers to take something, especially cash, in return for the
release of an abductor.
Fegor Ogude was selected for the Nigerian national team in
an Africa Cup of Nations qualifying match against Madagascar.
He was called up to Nigeria's 23-man squad for the 2013
Africa Cup of Nations and won the trophy with the Super Eagles in 2013.
He was also selected for Nigeria's squad at the 2013 FIFA
