Kwara United sorry for relegation to NNL

Abuja - The management of Kwara United have thanked the fans and supporters of the team for their support this season even as it described the outcome of the year as unfortunate.

The General Manager of the team, Alhaji Haruna Maigidansanma, in a statement on Monday in Ilorin apologized to the teeming followers of the club and explained that lessons have been learnt.

Maigidansanma in the statement thanked Governor Abdulfatah Ahmed for his support toward the team and those who had made one positive contribution or the other to the team.

He called for more supports and urged for quick plans that will ensure the team returns on time.

“We have learnt our lessons and we will amend where necessary. We did not plan to be where we are today but we can always bounce back,” the statement said.

Maigidansanma called on the people of the state to keep their loyalty intact for the club.

He described the season as a disappointment one and called for unity of purpose in the future to achieve what the followers of the club want.
