Lagos - The League Management Company (LMC) is in the process of agreeing a deal for the sponsorship of the Nigerian Premier League after parting ways with title sponsor Globacom telecommunications limited.
The deal with Glo, which was signed in 2013 and valued at N1.9b, lasted for three years and ended after the Super Four tournament concluded at the weekend.
News24 leant that foremost commercial bank, Zenith Bank and telecommunications giants, Etisalat are interested in dealing with the LMC.

The LMC is now planning to replace title sponsorship with a six-tier elite partnership model.
