Musa Yahaya on trial with FC Porto

25 December 2015, 12:08

Lisbon - Nigeria youth international Musa Yahaya is currently on trial with Portuguese giant FC Porto according to reports gathered by News24.

The 18 year old left Nigeria to go to Portugal as he was in doubt if he will get game time at Celta Vigo, his initial preferred destination after he was made available for loan by Tottenham Hotspurs in England.

We gathered he jettisoned the Celta Vigo option as the team are doing very well at the moment and he fears he won't be able to break into the first team to get the required match experience he is looking for.

He lost his father last week to a freak accident, after he died from a fish bone that got stuck in his lungs during dinner.

Aside from FC Porto he is reportedly drawing interest from Sporting Lisbon, Benfica and SC Braga and a deal this January is well on the cards for the talented forward.
