NPFL clubs shows interest in Otegbeye

07 December 2015, 07:41

Abuja - ABS FC forward Ajibola Otegbeye has attracted interest from Nigeria Professional Football League clubs, claims a top source in Ilorin, Kwara State.

The youngster netted five times in the Nigeria National League last season as his club (ABS) were edged out by Niger Tornadoes in the promotion to the top flight.

Otegbeye has established himself as a reliable campaigner as seen in his exploits in the last three years, and the source admitted that the striker has caught the eye of several Premier League sides.

“There have been a couple of clubs who have contacted us,” the source told News24 on Saturday.

“Otegbeye is yet to make a decision on his future or where he hopes to be in the 2015/16 season.

“He is a quality player, who knows how to score goals and can also play varieties of positions upfront. It's logical that clubs are interested in his services.

“Is he for sale? Everyone is and his own case is no exception. I'm sure he will move to a club that suits his status next season.
